Thom Hoffman
Thom Hoffman (1957) is acteur, fotograaf en documentairemaker. Hij is bekend van onder andere De Vierde Man en Zwartboek van Paul Verhoeven, Zoeken naar Eileen, De Avonden. Voor zijn rollen won hij prijzen in binnen- en buitenland. Televisiekijkers kennen hem van hitseries als Het Wassende Water, De Co-Assistent, Klem 3 en zes jaar Dokter Tinus waarvoor hij als allereerste acteur in 2016 de Televizier Zilveren Ster ontving. Hoffman maakte documentaires over cineast Adriaan Ditvoorst (1992) en Hollywood-rebel Dennis Hopper (2002), en fotografeerde meer dan twintig jaar voor uiteenlopende opdrachtgevers zoals War Child, NRC Handelsblad, Volkskrant Magazine en het Volkenkundig Museum Leiden. Patrick Dassen
Patrick Dassen promoveerde op het werk van Max Weber in zijn politieke en intellectuele Duitse context: De onttovering van de wereld. Max Weber en het probleem van de moderniteit in Duitsland, 1890 - 1920 (1999), dat ook uitgegeven werd door Van Oorschot. Hij werkte bij het Duitsland Instituut in Amsterdam en aan de universiteiten van Groningen en Amsterdam. Sinds 2004 doceert hij aan de Universiteit Leiden.

Arnout Jaspers
Arnout Jaspers (1958) studeerde natuurkunde in Leiden, publiceerde als wetenschapsjournalist onder meer in NRC Handelsblad en de Volkskrant en is columnist van Wynia’s Week.
