Marit Törnqvist

Marit Törnqvist is a Swedish-Dutch illustrator and author. She is the two-time recipient of the Dutch Zilveren Griffel award and was shortlisted for the Hans Christian Andersen Award. She is best known for her illustrations of Astrid Lindgren's books.

Törnqvist was born in 1964, in Sweden, to the author-illustrator Rita Törnqvist-Verschuur and Egil Törnqvist, a professor and academic literary critic. At the age of five, she moved to the Netherlands with her family, where she still lives today.

From 1982 to 1987 Törnqvist went to the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam. In 1989, she illustrated her first book The Christmas Carp , a collaboration with her mother.

Lizette de Koning

Lizette de Koning (Den Haag, 1975) verhuisde al op jonge leeftijd naar Drenthe. Daar woonde ze vlak bij het bos – geweldig om in te spelen, vertelt ze. Een paar jaar later vertrok het gezin naar Rijswijk. Daar waren meer stoeptegels dan bomen. Maar dat vond Lizette niet zo erg, want inmiddels had ze leren lezen! Ze las vrijwel alle kinderboeken uit de bibliotheek, behalve die over enge monsters en draken, daar hield ze niet zo van. Ze schreef ook zelf verhaaltjes, over dieren. Enne Koens

Enne Koens schrijft drama, proza en liedjes. Theater schreef ze onder andere voor theatergroep Artemis, theatergroep Max, De Toneelmakerij en het Gasthuis. Kristien Dieltiens

Koos Meinderts

Koos Meinderts groeide op in Den Haag. Na de middelbare school vertrok Meinderts naar Leiden voor een studie pedagogiek. Die studie brak hij voortijdig af en hij begon met schrijven.

De samenwerking tussen Meinderts en zijn schoolvriend Harrie Jekkers is begonnen rond 1980. Beiden woonden destijds in Utrecht. Aanvankelijk bestond de samenwerking uit het schrijven van liedteksten voor de popgroep Het Klein Orkest, de inmiddels opgeheven band waarin Jekkers gitaar speelde en zong.

Annet Schaap

Annet Schaap wilde altijd al tekenaar worden, of schrijver, of ontdekkingsreizigster.

Ze studeerde aan twee kunstacademies en een schrijversschool.
