Sudhindranath Dutta
Sudhindranath Dutta (Bengali: সুধীন্দ্রনাথ দত্ত; 1901–1960) was a Bengali Indian post-modern poet, essayist, journalist and critic. He is one of the most influential five poets of the 20th century who introduced modernity to Bengali poetry.
Sudhindranath is one of the most notable poets after the Tagore-era in Bengali literature. Born to renowned lawyer Hirendranath Dutta & Indumati Vasu Mallik (sister of Raja Subodh Chandra Vasu Mallik), he was born with a silver spoon in his mouth. But however he failed to complete his degrees, and decided to prepare for attorneyship under his father. He completed that neither. He married Chhabi Basu in 1924.

Syed Waliullah was born on 15 August 1922 at Sholashahar in Chittagong. After completing his Bachelor’s from Ananda Mohan College in Mymensingh, he enrolled at Calcutta University but did not complete his Master’s. Proficient in both Bangla and English, he worked for the Statesman during 1945-1947. After the Partition, he moved to Dhaka and joined Radio Pakistan as assistant news editor. Bibhutibhushan Bandyopadhyay (Bangla: বিভূতিভূষণ বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়) was an Indian Bangali author and one of the leading writers of modern Bangla literature.
