Mahmut Goloğlu
Mahmut Goloğlu (d. 1915, Akçaabat, Trabzon - ö. 1982, İstanbul), Türk siyaset adamı ve tarihçi.
Babası Sarıkamış'ta şehit düştü. Trabzon'daki öğrenciliği sırasında Halkevi'nin yerel tarih araştırmalarına katıldı. 1938'de İstanbul Üniversitesi Hukuk Fakültesi'ni bitirdi. TEKEL'de müfettiş oldu. Bu süre serbest avukatlık yaptıktan sonra aktif siyasete atıldı. 1950 seçimlerinde Demokrat Parti 'den (DP) Trabzon milletvekili seçildi. İki dönem (10. ve 11.) daha Trabzon milletvekili seçildi, Meclis Başkan Vekilliği yaptı. 27 Mayıs Darbesi'nden sonra, Anayasa'yı ihlal suçundan Yüksek Adalet Divanı'nda yargılandı, aklandı.
Milli Mücadele ve Cumhuriyet dönemini konu alan tarih çalışmalarıyla tanınmıştır. 1976'da Karadeniz Teknik Üniversitesi'nde (KTÜ)
