Aynı yıl İzzet Baysal Üniversitesi’nde siyaset bilimi yüksek lisansına başladı ve Uluslararası İlişkiler Bölümü’nde siyasi tarih araştırma görevlisi oldu. 2004-2008 yılları arasında Ankara Üniversitesi Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü’nde doktora yaptı. Doktorasını tamamlamasının ardından İzzet Baysal Üniversitesi’ne dönen Yaşlı, halen bu üniversitede öğretim üyesi olarak görev yapıyor. Felsefelogos, Bilim ve Gelecek, Birikim, Birgün, Radikal 2 gibi dergi ve gazetelerde çok sayıda makalesi yer aldı. Yaşlı, haftanın iki günü Yurt gazetesinde yazmaya devam ediyor.

Heinrich Wölfflin was a Swiss art historian, whose objective classifying principles ("painterly" vs. "linear" and the like) were influential in the development of formal analysis in art history in the early 20th century. He taught at Basel, Berlin and Munich in the generation that raised German art history to pre-eminence. His three great books, still consulted, are Renaissance und Barock (1888), Die Klassische Kunst (1898, "Classic Art"), and Kunstgeschichtliche Grundbegriffe (1915, "Principles of Art History").

Yury Tynyanov

Yury Nikolaevich (Nasonovich) Tynyanov (Russian: Юрий Николаевич (Насонович) Тынянов; October 18, 1894 - December 20, 1943) was a famous Soviet/Russian writer, literary critic, translator, scholar and screenwriter.
Yury Tynyanov was born in Rezhitsa, present day Rēzekne, Latvia, Russian Empire. He was a brother-in-law of Veniamin Kaverin, another well-known Russian author. He graduated from Petrograd University in 1918 and published his first works in 1921. Tynyanov was an authority on Pushkin and an important member of the Russian Formalist school.
In 1928, together with the linguist Roman Jakobson, he published a famous work titled Theses on Language, a predecessor to structuralism (but see Ferdinand de Saussure).

Ece Ayhan

Ece Ayhan (Datça/Muğla, 1931-İzmir, 12 Temmuz 2002). Şiirimizin en önemli “modern ustalarından biri” olarak adlandırılır. Ankara Üniversitesi Siyasal Bilgiler Fakültesi’ni bitirdi. İlk şiiri 1954’te Türk Dili’nde yayımlandı. Bu dönemde, sonradan ilk kitabı Kınar Hanımın Denizleri’ne (1959) aldığı, kendine özgü çağrışımlar ve göndermelerle örülü şiirleriyle hem Türk şiirinde hem de İkinci Yeni’nin içinde kendine farklı bir kanal açtı.
1965’te yayımladığı Bakışsız Bir Kedi Kara ve 1968’de yayımlanan Ortodoksluklar’la neredeyse bütünüyle “özel bir dil” halini alan bu şiir, Ayhan’ın, 1973’te yayımladığı ve daha geniş bir okur kitlesince alımlanan Devlet ve Tabiat’ıyla birlikte bu kez de “sokağın diliyle” okurunu (ve izleyicilerini) oluşturdu. 1

Timur Kuran

Born in 1954 in New York City, where his parents lived while graduate students at Yale University, Kuran spent his early childhood in Ankara, where his father taught at the Middle East Technical University. When he was a teenager, his family moved to Istanbul. For a decade, he lived just off the campus of Boğaziçi University, where his father was president and professor of Islamic architectural history.

Kuran obtained his secondary education in Turkey, graduating from Robert College in Istanbul in 1973. He then studied economics at Princeton University, graduating magna cum laude in 1977. He went on to Stanford University to obtain a doctorate in economics. His doctoral supervisor was Kenneth Arrow, a Nobel laureate.
