He made his manga debut in 1970 with Kareta Heya (A Desiccated Summer), published in the magazine Young Comic.
From 1976 to 1979, he created several hard-boiled comics with the scenarist Natsuo Sekigawa, such as City Without Defense, The Wind of the West is White and Lindo 3.
From 1984 to 1991, Tanigushi and Natsuo Sekigawa produced the trilogy Bocchan No Jidai.
In the 1990s, he came up with several albums, among which Aruku Hito (歩くひと), Chichi no koyomi (The Almanac of My Father), and Keyaki no ki.

Yoshiharu Tsuge

Fumio was born in Tokyo and grew up with the Manga and Anime cultures of the 1970’s and 80’s. Always fond of drawing, at school his exercise books were always full of cartoon sketches. In 1991 he moved to the UK and has been living on the British soil since.
He studied BA Illustration at Glasgow School of Art and obtained a Master degree in Communication Design from Royal College of Art in London. Under the guidance of some great tutors he decided to pursue his career in sequential imagery/design and is eager to extend its potentials into a wider perspective.

She grew up with her grandparents, farm workers in Grabouw, in a region known for its orchards and vineyards, located a good sixty kilometers from Cape Town and its townships. She then returned to her parents, who, when she was 13, settled in Eersterivier, a suburb which had many social problems - poverty, violence, drugs, gang warfare. This experience profoundly marked her life and her writing.
She gained a bachelor's degree in 1999; she held various jobs: waitress, office worker, nurse, while writing and pursuing studies at the University of the Western Cape, where she obtained a Master of Letters (Afrikaans and Dutch ).
