Denis Bajram étudie aux Beaux-Arts, puis aux Arts déco de Paris. En 1996, il publie chez Delcourt son premier album. Cryozone. En 1998, les éditions Soleil lui permettent de devenir auteur complet avec Universal War One (UW1). Traduit aux USA chez Marvel, devenu une référence dans le domaine de la science-fiction, il fonde avec sa compagne, la scénariste Valérie Mangin, les éditions Quadrants. Il vit maintenant à Bayeux en Normandie, où il travaille sur une adaptation d'UW1 au cinéma. Pour Ankama, il coscénarise avec son épouse Expérience Mort, une fable sur la vie après la mort.

After studying to become a furniture maker and working as interior architect, Hermann made his debut as comic book artist in 1964 in the comics magazine Spirou with a four page story. Bernard Werber
Bernard Werber's "Ants" trilogy made him one of France's most popular science fiction novelists in the 90s. François Schuiten
François Schuiten was born in Brussels in 1956, as the son of two architects. He studied at the Saint-Luc Institute where he met Claude Renard. Together, they created the comics 'Aux Médianes de Cymbiola' and 'Le Rail', as well as three volumes of '9ème Rêve'. François also collaborated with his brother Luc on the series 'Terres Creuses' which was published in the legendary Pilote magazine. His final breakthrough into the mainstream of comics came with his transfer to the more adult Métal Hurlant magazine. In 1980, together with Benoît Peeters, he created the series 'Cités Obscures', in which his love of architecture is magnificently visible.

Hiroshi Hirata (平田 弘史 Hirata Hiroshi?, born February 9, 1937, Japan) was a mangaka best known in the United States for the samurai manga series Satsuma Gishiden, which is published in the United States by Dark Horse Comics. Hirata's works belong to the subset of manga known as "gekiga" ("dramatic pictures"), and his artwork has a realistic style comparable to Goseki Kojima's work on Lone Wolf and Cub. He's also known for his use of elaborate calligraphy for dialogue, which has been preserved (though still translated) in the American editions of his work.
