Fabien Toulmé
Fabien Toulmé (born 1980 in Orléans) is a French comic book writer and illustrator.
Originally trained as an engineer, he became known to the wider public for his autobiographical graphic novel, Ce n'est pas toi que j'attendais ("It's not you I was waiting for"), in which he describes his personal struggle with his second daughter being born with Down Syndrome.

Picault was born in 1979. She graduated from the 'École nationale supérieure des arts décoratifs', a renowned art university in Paris, in 2005.
Picault started her comics career when in university with the slice-of-life Moi Je (2004). From 2006 to 2009 she collaborated as a cartoonist with the weekly French magazine Voici, while also working as a children's books writer and illustrator. During the same period, she was part of the web-comics collective Chicou-Chicou.
Among her graphic novels are Papa (2006), Les Mélo Maniaks (2008), Transat (2009), the erotic Comtesse (2010), the travel comic diary Parenthèse Patagone (2015), Idéal Standard (2017) and Amalia (2022). -

Jean de Brunhoff
Jean de Brunhoff was a French writer and illustrator known for co-creating Babar, which first appeared in 1931. The stories were originally told to their second son, Mathieu, when he was sick, by his wife Cecile de Brunhoff. After its first appearance, six more titles followed. He was the fourth and last child of Maurice de Brunhoff, a successful publisher, and his wife Marguerite. He attended Protestant schools, including the prestigious L'Ecole Alsacienne. Brunhoff joined the army and reached the front lines when World War I was almost over. Afterwards, he decided to be a professional artist and studied painting at Academie de la Grand Chamiere. He married Ceccile Sabourand, a talented pianist from a Catholic family, in 1924.

Tian Veasna was born in Cambodia in 1975, three days after the Khmer Rouge came to power. He moved to France with his parents in 1980, where he graduated from Strasbourg’s École des Arts Décoratifs in 2001. After that he returned to Cambodia for the first time, offering drawing classes as part of a United Nations humanitarian project. Head was born in 1958 in Morristown, New Jersey and began drawing comics when fourteen. A student of Art Spiegelman at the School of Visual Arts in the early ‘80s, Head's style was significantly influenced by the underground comix of the 60's.
Much of his work has appeared in anthologies. In the early 90's Head co-created with cartoonist Kaz the comix anthology series Snake Eyes, for Fantagraphics Books. From 2005 to 2010 he edited and contributed to another anthology by Fantagraphics, called Hotwire Comix.
In recent years Glenn Head has moved towards longer form comics, releasing the graphic novels Chicago (2015) and Chartwell Manor (2021).
