After twenty years in academia, Michael Foley began farming first in southern Maryland, and then in Willits, California, where he, his wife, and oldest daughter currently operate the small, diversified Green Uprising Farm. Foley is cofounder of the School of Adaptive Agriculture (formerly the Grange Farm School), a farmer training and education program where he is a board member and teacher. He also helped create and manage a community kitchen and small farmers group. He currently manages his local farmers market, and has served as vice president of the Mendocino County Farmers’ Market Association and president of Little Lake Grange.

Forugh Karimi

Forugh Karimi (1971, Kabul) kwam als 25-jarige op de vlucht voor de oorlog in Afghanistan in Nederland terecht. Ze vervolgde hier haar studie geneeskunde en heeft inmiddels een eigen praktijk als psychiater en psychotherapeut. Ze is daarnaast hoofdredacteur van De Psychiater (het tijdschrift van de Nederlandse Vereniging voor Psychiatrie) en maakt deel uit van de Raad voor de Nederlandse Taal en Letteren.

Mariska van der Klis (1964) is journalist, jurist en moeder van twee volwassen kinderen. Van der Klis werkt ruim dertig jaar in de media als presentator en redacteur van programma’s als Pauw en Jinek. Jan Hendrik Wolkers was a Dutch author, sculptor and painter.

Wolkers is considered one of the "Great Four" writers of post-World War II Dutch literature, along with Willem Frederik Hermans, Harry Mulisch and Gerard Reve (the latter authors are also known as the "Great Three"). He became noted in the 1960s mainly for his strikingly direct descriptions of sex.

His 1969 novel Turks Fruit was translated into ten different languages and published in English as Turkish Delight. Carolina Trujillo
