Brenna Devland
My love of movies, such as "Psycho" (1960), "Silence of the Lambs" (1991), and "Joker" (2019) have long fueled my interest in psychological thrillers. I classify my books as edgy cozy mysteries, choosing to blend suspense, shocking twists, and deeply disturbed villains, with a sprinkle of romance and satisfying endings. My stories prominently feature dogs, which I love, focusing primarily on working dogs because I find their unique skills fascinating. My husband, two wonderful black Labrador Retrievers, and I live in picturesque New England. Some of my best ideas come when Iโm out walking with "my guys."
