Outside the writing desk (and the lab), Aegelis enjoys date nights with his wife, online and retro gaming, wushu, theatre, movies, comics, antique postcard collecting, Indian food, and the social connection of yard sales. You'll likely find him driving or dancing (or both) to Techno, Rock, Trip-Hop, Alternative, and World music.
Jennifer is a coffee-infused lover of dark chocolate and all things romantic. Her dry wit and sarcasm fill the pages of whatever she’s writing because she can’t help herself. She is most often found sharing space with her family, devouring a good book, listening to music, or writing incessantly. Sometimes she manages all of these at once, which she considers a skill that sets her apart. She lives in upstate New York with her husband, three children, and their pack of hounds.
My love of movies, such as "Psycho" (1960), "Silence of the Lambs" (1991), and "Joker" (2019) have long fueled my interest in psychological thrillers. I classify my books as edgy cozy mysteries, choosing to blend suspense, shocking twists, and deeply disturbed villains, with a sprinkle of romance and satisfying endings. My stories prominently feature dogs, which I love, focusing primarily on working dogs because I find their unique skills fascinating. My husband, two wonderful black Labrador Retrievers, and I live in picturesque New England. Some of my best ideas come when I’m out walking with "my guys."
