As I so admire the great American author Stephen King and his fictional towns such as Castle Rock and Derry. I too have created a fictional town called Littleten in the state of Illinois.
This is my first fictional suspense novel called The Ripple (Release date August 18,2023) written while working as an RN. I plan on dedicating much of my time to creatively writing within this small fictional town called Littleten. My love of movies, such as "Psycho" (1960), "Silence of the Lambs" (1991), and "Joker" (2019) have long fueled my interest in psychological thrillers. I classify my books as edgy cozy mysteries, choosing to blend suspense, shocking twists, and deeply disturbed villains, with a sprinkle of romance and satisfying endings. My stories prominently feature dogs, which I love, focusing primarily on working dogs because I find their unique skills fascinating. My husband, two wonderful black Labrador Retrievers, and I live in picturesque New England. Some of my best ideas come when Iโm out walking with "my guys."
