Anja Hitz

Forfatter og oversætter Anja Hitz begyndte tidligt at sluge og blive slugt af bøger. Skriveriet voksede ud af de små historier, hun satte til sine egne tegninger. Sprog og fortælling holdt ved, tegneriet faldt fra. I dag skriver hun mest for børn og unge og nyder, når andre illustrerer hendes tekster, som kredser om det realistiske og nutidige.

Hitz er cand.mag. i filmvidenskab og dansk og var under sine studier bosat i New York i en længere periode. Selvom det lå i kortene, at hun efter endt akademisk uddannelse skulle have en karriere som formidler, kom første barn som inspirator til debutbogen "Min mor, mit muldyr" (2002). Jon Klassen

Katherine Rundell

Katherine Rundell was born in 1987 and grew up in Africa and Europe. In 2008 she was elected a Fellow of All Souls College, Oxford. Her first book, The Girl Savage, was born of her love of Zimbabwe and her own childhood there; her second, Rooftoppers, was inspired by summers working in Paris and by night-time trespassing on the rooftops of All Souls. She is currently working on her doctorate alongside an adult novel.
