In June 2013 his book I kroppen min - resan mot livets slut och alltings början / Inside my body - the journey towards life's end and the beginning of everything was released, featuring large excerpts from his blog. Both the blog and the book received wide attention in the media.

In September 2013, a few days before what would have been his thirtieth birthday, he finally succumbed to the disease and passed away.

Gregory David Roberts (GDR) is an Australian artist, composer, songwriter, and author of Shantaram, its sequel, The Mountain Shadow, and The Spiritual Path.

Following the breakdown of his marriage and the loss of custody of his daughter, he turned to heroin to numb the pain, and crime to feed his habit. In 1978, Roberts was sentenced to 19 years in prison for armed robbery (with a plastic weapon), he escaped and spent eight years in Bombay as a fugitive. Here he established a free medical clinic for slum-dwellers and worked as a counterfeiter and smuggler for a branch of the South Bombay mafia.

Recaptured and extradited to Australia, he served out his sentence, which included two years in solitary confinement as a punishment for his escape.

Ulf Ellervik (born 1969) is a Swedish professor of bioorganic chemistry at Lund University. Ellervik's main research area is carbohydrates, such as eye drops against the viral disease epidemic keratoconjunctivitis and the carbohydrate xylose as the cure for cancer. She is perhaps most famous for her poems, of which the most well-known ought to be "Yes, of course it hurts" (Swedish: "Ja visst gör det ont") and "In motion" (Swedish: "I rörelse"). Inspired by the rise of National Socialism in Germany, it was a portrayal of a dystopian society in the vein of Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-Four and Huxley's Brave New World (though written almost a decade before Nineteen Eighty-Four). In the novel, an idealistic scientist named Leo Kall invents Kallocain, a kind of truth serum.

Vetle Lid Larssen er en norsk journalist og forfatter. Han har vært journalist i Morgenbladet og Aftenposten, der han spesielt utmerket seg for sine velskrevne portrettintervjuer.
For tiden er han spaltist i A-magasinet. Han har også arbeidet som frilansreporter for NRK og TV 2. Han har blant annet mottatt Gullpennen (1991), Oslo og Bærums Riksmålsforenings pressepris (1991), Arne Hestenes’ journalistpris (1993) og Sarpsborgprisen (1996).

Hans skjønnlitterære debut kom i 1990 med boka 2. Boka var et oppgjør med 68-generasjonens forhold til barna sine og fikk mye oppmerksomhet.

Frode Grytten (born December 11, 1960 in Odda) is a Norwegian writer and journalist. He is the author of the Brage award-winning novel Bikubesong ('Song of the Beehive'), and other collections of short stories and poetry. Vigdis Hjorth

Vigdis Hjorth (born 1959) is a Norwegian novelist. She grew up in Oslo, and has studied philosophy, literature and political science.

In 1983, she published her first novel, the children's book "Pelle-Ragnar i den gule gården" for which she received Norsk kulturråd's debut award. Her first book for an adult audience was "Drama med Hilde" (1987). "Om bare" from 2001 is considered her most important novel, and a roman à clef.
