In 1983, she published her first novel, the children's book "Pelle-Ragnar i den gule gården" for which she received Norsk kulturråd's debut award. Her first book for an adult audience was "Drama med Hilde" (1987). "Om bare" from 2001 is considered her most important novel, and a roman à clef.

Erlend Loe is a Norwegian novelist. He worked at a psychiatric clinic, and was later a freelance journalist for Norwegian newspaper Adresseavisen. Loe now lives and works in Oslo where in 1998 he co-founded Screenwriters Oslo - an office community for screenwriters.

In 1993 he debuted with the book Tatt av kvinnen, and a year later published a children's book, Fisken, about a forklift operator named Kurt. Loe has a distinctive style of writing which is often likened to naïve art. He often uses irony, exaggeration and humor.

Born into a middle-class Jewish family in St John's Wood, North London, he was educated at Arnold House School, a local all-boys independent preparatory school, where he was sexually abused by a teacher.

Dawid Sierakowiak was born in Poland in July 1924. He began his diary when he was fourteen, before the German invasion of Poland, and continued it until April 1943. He and his family were confined to the Lodz Ghetto, where Dawid recorded the deportation of his mother, the death of his father, and the starvation and suffering of all. He died of tuberculosis and starvation in the ghetto on August 8, 1943. He was nineteen years old. His younger sister, the last survivor of the family, was deported to Auschwitz in 1944 and presumably died there.

Sana Krasikov

Sana Krasikov was born in Ukraine and grew up in the former Soviet republic of Georgia before immigrating to New York. She has since lived in Moscow and, more recently, Nairobi.
Her debut collection ONE MORE YEAR went on to be translated into eleven languages and selected for the National Book Foundation's "5 under 35" Award. It won the 2009 Sami Rohr Prize for Jewish Literature and was a finalist for the PEN/Hemingway Award, and the New York Public Library’s Young Lions prize.

Kristin Elisabeth Solberg er en norsk journalist som fra februar 2015 er NRK-korrespondent med base i Istanbul.

Inger Hagerup

Zsuzsa Rakovszky

Rakovszky Zsuzsa (Sopron, 1950. december 4. –) Kossuth-díjas magyar író, költő, műfordító; a Digitális Irodalmi Akadémia alapító tagja.

Sopronban született 1950. december 4-én. Apja, Rakovszky Tibor jogot végzett, a háború előtt a közigazgatásban dolgozott mint főispáni, majd miniszteri titkár, később vállalatigazgató volt, a háború után nyugdíjas. 1952-ben halt meg. Anyja, Szűcs Zsuzsanna, gépírónő volt, majd pénzügyi előadó. 1981-ben halt meg. Nevelőapja, Majoros József, jogot végzett, a háború után raktárosként dolgozott.
