1921'de İstanbul Kadıköy'de doğdu. Kadıköy Aramyan-Uncuyan ve Dibar Gırtaran (Sultanyan) Ermeni ilkokulları, Saint Joseph Lisesi ve İstanbul Ticari İlimler Akademisi'nde öğrenim gördü.

1941'de Yirmi Sınıf (Kura) asker toplanırken, o da askere alındı ve Nafıa hizmetine verildi. Akhisar'da kendisi gibi Nafıa askeri olan Jamanak [Zaman] gazetesi yöneticilerinden Ara Koçunyan'la tanıştı. Üç buçuk yıl süren askerlik dönüşü Jamanak gazetesinde yayınlanan "Krisdoneutyan Vağhcanı" [Hıristiyanlığın Sonu] adlı yazı dizisi büyük gürültü kopardı, dizinin yayını durduruldu. Feride Çiçekoğlu

Feride Çiçekoğlu, 1951 yılında Ankara'da doğdu. Maarif Koleji ve Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi'nde okudu. Mimar olarak Fullbright bursu ile, Pennsylvania Üniversitesi'nde doktora tezini yazdı. İstanbul Bilgi Üniversitesi'nde öğretim üyesi olarak görev yapan Çiçekoğlu, 12 Eylül askeri darbesinin ardından dört yıl cezaevinde kaldı. Richard Ford

Richard Ford, born February 16, 1944 in Jackson, Mississippi, is an American novelist and short story writer. His best-known works are the novel The Sportswriter and its sequels, Independence Day, The Lay of the Land and Let Me Be Frank With You, and the short story collection Rock Springs, which contains several widely anthologized stories. Comparisons have been drawn between Ford's work and the writings of John Updike, William Faulkner, Ernest Hemingway and Walker Percy.

Sándor Márai

Sándor Márai (originally Sándor Károly Henrik Grosschmied de Mára) was a Hungarian writer and journalist.
He was born in the city of Kassa in Austria-Hungary (now Košice in Slovakia) to an old family of Saxon origin who had mixed with magyars through the centuries. Through his father he was a relative of the Ország-family. Vigdis Hjorth

Vigdis Hjorth (born 1959) is a Norwegian novelist. She grew up in Oslo, and has studied philosophy, literature and political science.

Wilhelm Genazino

Wilhelm Genazino was a German journalist and author.

In the 1960s, he studied German, philosophy and sociology at Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main. He worked as a journalist until 1965. During this time, he worked, inter alia, for the satirical magazine Pardon and co-edited the magazine Lesezeichen. Since 1970 he has been working as a freelance author. In 1977 he achieved a breakthrough as a serious writer with his trilogy "Abschaffel". In 1990 he became a member of the Academy for Language and Poetry in Darmstadt. Erhan Bener

Yazar Erhan Bener, 1929 yılında babasının görevli bulunduğu Kıbrıs’ta dünyaya geldi. İlk ve orta öğrenimini Anadolu’nun çeşitli il ve ilçe merkezlerinde tamamlayan Bener, 1950 yılında Ankara Üniversitesi Siyasal Bilgiler Fakültesi’ni bitirdi. Deniz Gezgin
