Since 2014, Ævar has been one of the most popular authors in Iceland. Margrét "Magga" Örnólfsdóttir (b. 1967) is a former member of the Sugarcubes, mother of five and author of four novels for children and young adults. She is also a script writer and wrote the script to Regina, a popular musical film for kids. Olaf Olafsson was born in Reykjavik, Iceland in 1962. He studied physics as a Wien Scholar at Brandeis University. He is the author of three previous novels, The Journey Home, Absolution and Walking Into the Night, and a story collection, Valentines.
