Lucy Falcone
Lucy Falcone (aka L.M. Falcone) is a former children's television writer for such series as The Littlest Hobo and Nickelodeon's hugely popular, Are You Afraid of the Dark? She turned her hand to writing a number of award-winning novels and a junior-fiction detective series. Wanda Hazel Gág (pronounced GOG) was an American author and illustrator. She was born on March 11, 1893, in New Ulm, Minnesota. Her mother, Elisabeth Biebl, and father, Anton, were of Bohemian descent. Both parents were artists who had met in Germany. They had seven children, who all acquired some level of artistic talent. Mary and I were always creating imaginary characters and mimicking real ones, and I used to write shows and choreograph ballets for us. A wind-up gramophone wafted out Chopin waltzes.
I studied Drama and French at Bristol University, where I met Malcolm, a guitar-playing medic to whom I’m now married.
