Tommi Kinnunen
Tommi Kinnunen (b. 1973) was born in Kuusamo, north-east Finland and currently lives in Turku, where he works as a Finnish literature school teacher. His debut novel, Where Four Roads Meet has dominated the charts in Finland ever since its publication and has sold over 82,000 units to date. The novel was awarded the Best Novel of 2014 Prize by the Jury of the Finnish Grand Journalism Prize as well as the Thank You for the Book Prize by the Finnish Booksellers’ Association. It was also shortlisted for both the Finlandia Prize for Fiction and the Best Debut of the Year Prize.

Anna Koikkalainen on kasvanut Kainuussa. Hän asuu Helsingissä ja työskentelee virkahenkilönä. Koikkalainen on vaeltanut Suomen Lapin erämaissa ja kansallispuistoissa yli viidentoista vuoden ajan. Eeva Kilpi comes from eastern Karelia, east of Finland's present-day border with Russia, studied English philology at the University of Helsinki, and worked as a teacher before she began to earn a living from her writing. From 1970 to 1975, she chaired the PEN club in Finland.
She made her debut with the short story collection Noidanlukko in 1959. She wrote about the evacuation of the population of Karelia in Elämä edestakasin, 1964, and Elämän evakkona, 1983, as well as in her autobiographical novel trilogy Talvisodan aika (1989; Eng. tr. Matti Rönkä is a Finnish TV-journalist and novelist. He received the Glass Key award in 2007 for the crime novel Ystävät kaukana and the Deutscher Krimipreis third prize in 2008 for the German translation of his novel Tappajan näköinen mies (2002) (German: Der Grenzgänger). Matti Laine
Matti Laine is a Finnish, Helsinki-based novelist, screenwriter and an actor. He has studied dramaturgy in the Tampere University and acting in the Theatre Academy, Helsinki. He has published seven crime-novels and was one of the writers of the Finnish Nordic-noir TV-series Bordertown (first-season). Along with TV- and cinema, he has also written for theatre two plays and does still some acting too, when the time is right. He loves football, hazy rock-clubs and Lapland.
