Maria Peura

Maria Peura (s. 1970) julkaisi esikoisromaaninsa On rakkautes ääretön vuonna 2001. Se valittiin Finlandia-palkintoehdokkaaksi ja sai Olvi-, Nuori Aleksis- ja Hyvä teko lapselle -palkinnon. Vuonna 2004 häneltä ilmestyi lasten runokokoelma Mimmi Moun ilotaika (Tammi) ja kaksi vuotta myöhemmin hänen toinen romaaninsa Valon reunalla (Teos), joka on julkaistu myös englanniksi. Peuran kolmas romaani Vedenaliset ilmestyi vuonna 2008, ja samana vuonna hän valmistui dramaturgiksi. Vuonna 2010 Peura kirjoitti loistavan tietokirjan kirjoittamisesta, Antaumuksella keskeneräinen on kirja kirjailijan ammatista.

Golnaz Hashemzadeh Bonde

Golnaz Hashemzadeh Bonde was born in Iran in 1983 and fled with her parents to Sweden as a young child. She graduated from the Stockholm School of Economics and was named one of 50 Goldman Sachs Global Leaders. She is the founder and director of Inkludera Invest, a non-profit organization dedicated to fighting marginalization in society by backing social entrepreneurs who have developed pragmatic solutions to social challenges.

She debuted in 2012 with the novel, She Is Not Me (Hon är inte jag). Her second novel, What We Owe, was published by Wahlström & Widstrand in August, 2017.

Riikka Pulkkinen

Riikka Pulkkinen was born in 1980 and spent her youth in Oulu, a town on Finland’s northwest coast, with her father (a lawyer), mother (a doctor), and two sisters. During that time, she was also a very talented athlete. Nowadays she studies literature and philosophy at the University of Helsinki, and does her jogging without a stopwatch.

The Border, Pulkkinen's first novel, was published in 2006 and got positive reviews and immediate sales success.

Her second novel, True, came out in 2010 and was shortlisted for the Finlandia Prize, the most prestigious literary award in Finland. The film rights of True have been sold to Vertigo Productions (Finland), and its adaptation for the stage premiered at Helsinki KOM Theatre in November 2011.
