Şükrü Sunay Akın (d. 12 Eylül 1962), şair, yazar, gazeteci, araştırmacı, tiyatro oyuncusu.
12 Eylül 1962 tarihinde Trabzon'un Maçka ilçesinde doğdu (bu yüzden 18 yaşından beri doğum gününü kutlamamaktadır). Ailesi, onun daha iyi eğitim görebilmesi için, 10 yaşındayken İstanbul'a taşındı. Lise öğrenimini İstanbul Haydarpaşa Lisesi'nde tamamladı. İstanbul Üniversitesi Fizik Coğrafya Bölümü'nden mezun oldu.
