(Tamil: எஸ்.ராமகிருஷ்ணன்; born 1966)
is a noted Tamil author and Tamil film dialogue writer. He was born in Mallankinaru, Virudhunagar district, Tamil Nadu.
Ramakrishnan is noted for his column Thunai Ezhuthu in the magazine Ananda Vikatan. His short stories have been translated in German, French, Kannada, Hindi and Malayalam.
His other works include Kadhaa Vilaasam, Desaandri, and Alainthen Tirindhen.

C. Viruthachalam better known by the pseudonym Pudhumaipithan (also spelt as Pudumaipithan or Puthumaippiththan), was one of the most influential and revolutionary writers of Tamil fiction. Hephzibah Jesudasan
Hephzibah Jesudasan was born in 1925 in Pulipanam, in Nagercoil district, in Tamil Nadu, India. She had her early education in a village school and later went to Burma with her father for a few years. She was "not considered a good student, especially by her Tamil teachers who thought she did more harm than good to the language". On completing her BA Honours in English from Maharaja's University College, Trivandrum, she worked as an English professor. She married Prof. C Jesudasan who was responsible for her interest in Tamil. Hephzibah Jesudasan is the author of several novels.
