Ranajit Guha

Ranajit Guha was a historian of South Asia who was greatly influential in the Subaltern Studies group, and was the editor of several of the group's early anthologies. He migrated from India to the UK in 1959, and currently lives in Vienna, Austria.
His Elementary Aspects of Peasant Insurgency in Colonial India is widely considered to be a classic. Aside from this, his founding statement in the first volume of Subaltern Studies set the agenda for the Subaltern Studies group, defining the "subaltern" as "the demographic difference between the total Indian population and all those whom we have described as the ‘elite’."

Yves Coppens

French anthropolohist, graduated from the University of Rennes. He is best known as the co-discoverer of Lucy, since he was the director of the Hadar expedition. Awarded with several national awards. Since October 2014 he is also a member of The Pontificial Academy of Sciences.

Herkül Millas

1940’ta Ankara’da doğdu. Yüksek öğrenimini 1965’te Robert Kolej’de tamamladı. 1960’larda öğrenci hareketinde yer aldı. TİP üyesiydi. 1971’de Atina’ya yerleşti. Yunanca’dan Türkçe’ye Ritsos, Seferis, Elitis vd. şairlerin yapıtlarını çevirdi. Halen A.Ü. D.T.C.F. Çağdaş Yunan Edebiyatı Bölümü’nde öğretim üyesiydi. Bu yıllarda Siyaset Bilimi bölümünde doktora öğrenimini tamamladı. Türk-Yunan ilişkileri ve karşılıklı algılamalar konusunda kitap ve makaleleri Türkçe, Yunanca ve İngilizce olarak çeşitli ülkelerde yayımlandı.

Núria Cadenes

Núria Cadenes i Alabèrnia (Barcelona, 18 de febrer de 1970) és una periodista, escriptora i militant independentista catalana, filla de Teresa Alabèrnia i Domènech.

Actualment viu a l’Horta Sud, prop de València. Treballa de llibretera i col·labora en diversos mitjans (VilaWeb, El Temps). Ha publicat, entre d’altres, els llibres Cartes de la presó (1990), L’Ovidi (2002), El banquer (2013) o Secundaris (2018). Amb AZ (2009) va guanyar el premi Ciutat d’Elx i el de la Crítica dels Escriptors Valencians i amb Tota la veritat (2016), el Crims de Tinta.

Lena Divani (Greek: Λένα Διβάνη) was born in Volos, Greece in 1955 and is currently professor of foreign policy history at the University of Athens School of Law.
Besides her academic publications she has written for Greek newspapers and magazines, and published numerous short story collections, childrens' books, plays and novels. Her novels have been translated into French, Italian and Spanish.
