Marcello Quintanilha

Marcello Quintanilha nasceu em Niterói, Brasil, em 1971. Começou, ainda adolescente, por desenhar histórias sobre artes marciais com o pseudónimo de Marcello Gáu. Mais tarde, em 2003, envolve-se na série "Sept balles pour Oxford", para uma editora belga, com argumento do argentino Jorge Zentner e do espanhol Montecarlo. Estabelece-se, a partir de 2002, em Barcelona. Ilustrações suas surgem desde então nos jornais espanhóis "El País" e "Vanguardia". Ao mesmo tempo, continua a produzir álbuns para o público brasileiro. Em 2005 foi dado à estampa "Salvador". Seguiram-se "Sábado dos meus amores" (2009), "Almas públicas" (2011), "O ateneu" (2012), "Tungstênio" (2014), "Talco de vidro" (2015), "Hinário nacional" (2016) e "Luzes de Niterói" (2018)

Horrocks has been involved in the New Zealand comic scene since the mid 1980s, when he co-founded Razor with Cornelius Stone and had his work published in the University of Auckland student magazine Craccum. Later in the decade he began to get international recognition, having work published by Australia's Fox Comics and the American Fantagraphics Books. He then moved to the United Kingdom where he self-published several mini-comics and co-founded Le Roquet, a comics annual. Léa Murawiec (Paris, 1994) is a French cartoonist.
Daughter of an architect and a designer, Léa studied graphic design at the École Estienne in Paris, then comics at the École Européenne Supérieure de l’Image in Angoulême.
Murawiec's strips have appeared in various French fanzines, as well as the kid comic magazine Biscoto. She co-founded Éditions Flutiste, an independent small press. Daniel Clowes

Daniel Gillespie Clowes is an Academy Award-nominated American author, screenwriter and cartoonist of alternative comic books. Most of Clowes' work appears first in his anthology Eightball (1989-2004), a collection of self-contained narratives and serialized graphic novels. Several of these narratives have been collected published separately as graphic novels, most notably Ghost World. With filmmaker Terry Zwigoff, Clowes adapted Ghost World into the 2000 film of the same name, and also adapted another Eightball story into the 2006 film Art School Confidential. Graciliano Ramos

Graciliano Ramos was widely considered one of the most important Brazilian authors of the 20th century. He was a seminal voice in the literary "regionalism" movement.
As a child Ramos lived in many cities of Northeastern Brazil, stricken by poverty and severe weather conditions (droughts). After high-school, Graciliano went to Rio de Janeiro where he worked as a journalist. In 1915 he traveled to Palmeira dos Indios, state of Alagoas, to live with his father and in 1927 he was elected mayor.

Bea Lema

Beatriz Lema Rivera (1985), known as Bea Lema, is a Spanish cartoonist and illustrator, winner of the 2024 Spanish National Comic Award. Her works have been published in both Spanish and French.

In 2017, she published her first comic in galician, O Corpo de Cristo, which was nominated and later named winner of the XII Castelao Comic Award of the Provincial Council of A Coruña, becoming the first woman to receive this award. Ailton Krenak
