Javier Sáez Castán
Nace en 1964 en Huesca, España. Desde pequeño escribía y dibujaba cuentos y, le gustó tanto hacerlo, que ahora se dedica a tiempo completo a crear historias. Es licenciado en bellas artes en la especialidad de dibujo, ha trabajado como ilustrador para la Universidad y el Ayuntamiento de Alicante, entre otras instituciones y empresas de publicidad. Sus libros le han merecido varios premios y han sido traducidos a muchos idiomas. Tiene tres hijos, ha publicado más de tres libros y ha plantado más de tres árboles.

Marcus Pfister
Marcus Pfister was born in Berne, Switzerland, and began his career as a graphic artist in an advertising agency. Shaun Tan
Shaun Tan (born 1974) is the illustrator and author of award-winning children's books. After freelancing for some years from a studio at Mt. Lawley, Tan relocated to Melbourne, Victoria, in 2007. Tan was the Illustrator in Residence at the University of Melbourne's Department of Language Literacy and Arts Education for two weeks through an annual Fellowship offered by the May Gibbs Children’s Literature Trust. 2009 World Fantasy Award for Best Artist. In 2011, he won his first Oscar in the category Best Short Animated Film for his work The Lost Thing.

Arakawa was born and raised on a dairy farm in Hokkaidō.
She thought of being a manga artist since she was little. After graduating high school, she took oil painting classes while working on her family's farm. During that time, she also created dōjinshi manga with her friends and drew yonkoma for a magazine. After eight years she moved to Tōkyō and started out as assistant writer for Hiroyuki Etō.
