Gary C. Mele, Jr.
The oldest of five siblings, my brothers and sisters and I had anything but a normal childhood. From moving over twenty times, to parents in the hoosegow, cartoons and our own bright imaginations were our only escapes from chaos.
I have loved to write since the second time I had to complete the first grade, and I always knew that someday I'd write a memoir of my crazy childhood.
Writing my memoir sparked an insatiable need to keep telling stories, and my next foray was into fiction (Ah! The freedom!), Sci-fi, actually.
I live in Redington Shores, Florida with my husband, Anthony, our pit bull, Stella (who is about as dangerous as a teacup poodle) and the real terror of the house, our cat, Moxie.
