Nyssa Corbin is a homeschooling mother of four who writes to promote awareness of child abuse. Through the thorough retelling of biographical events, she urges action by those who witness abuse, as well as encouragement for those who have suffered through traumatic childhood events.
She and her husband are currently working on creating a camp for children in the foster care system. This unique camp would off self defense training, outdoor appreciation, nutrition education, and team building activities. They are hoping to also provide individual counseling, as well as group sessions. The camp is named for the little sister from the book, “Dark Secret”... “Camp Alexandria”.
