Most famous for her experimental memoir/novel, Dictee, Theresa Hak Kyung Cha is a Korean American writer, filmmaker and performance artist. She was born in Pusan, Korea, during the Korean War, but relocated with her parents to San Francisco, California. Nam Le came to Australia from Vietnam with his parents, when he was less than a year old, as a boat refugee. Joudah was born in Austin, Texas in 1971 to Palestinian refugee parents, and grew up in Libya and Saudi Arabia. Tawanda Mulalu

Tawanda Mulalu was born in Gaborone, Botswana, in 1997.

Noʻu Revilla is an ʻŌiwi (Native Hawaiian) poet, performer, and educator. She is the author of Ask the Brindled, a National Poetry Series winning collection, selected by Rick Barot. Born and raised in Waiʻehu on the island of Maui, she currently lives and loves in the valley of Pālolo on the island of Oʻahu.
