Klaus Rifbjerg was a Danish writer. He has written more than 120 novels, books and essays. His breakthrough was in 1958 with the novel Den kroniske Uskyld. Since then he has published more than 100 novels as well as poetry and short story collections, plays, TV and radio plays, film scripts, children's books, and diaries. Rifbjerg was also known as a journalist and critic.

Ruth Lillegraven was born in 1978 in Hardanger, Norway, where she grew up on a small farm. She debuted as an author with a poetry collection in 2005. Inga H. Sætre

Inga Sætre (f. 1978) er utdannet animatør. Hun vant Kulturdepartementets priser for barne- og ungdomsbøker 2011, kategorien for beste tegneserie. Sætre fikk Brageprisen for "Fallteknikk" i 2011. Hun var nominert til Nordisk råds litteraturpris med samme bok i 2013. I 2016 mottok Inga Sætre Kulturdepartementets litteraturpris for for barne- og ungdomslitteratur med boken "Fyrvokterne".

Magnhild Haalke

Magnhild Haalke (1885-1984), fra Vikna i Nord-Trøndelag, debuterte som forfatter i 1935 med romanen Allis sønn. Hun var da 50 år gammel, og boken regnes fremdeles som hennes beste verk. Den ble oversatt til 17 språk.

I 1939 vant hun en nordisk romankonkurranse om «yrkeskvinnen i hennes forhold til arbeid, kjærlighet og hjem» med romanen Trine Torgersen. Frem til 1940 jobbet Haalke som lærer. Hun skrev siden en lang rekke romaner, hvor hun gjerne fulgte samme hovedperson eller slekt gjennom flere bøker, blant annet trilogien om Gry; Åkfestet, Dagblinket og Rød haust?, og trilogien om Kaja Augusta og slekten hennes; Karenanna Velde, Kaja Augusta og Kvinneverden.

Brit Bildøen

Brit Bildøen (født 28. januar 1962 i Ålesund) er en norsk forfatter og lyriker, oppvokst på Aukra. Bildøen er utdannet som, og har arbeidet som bibliotekar, har studert sosiologi og gått på Skrivekunstakademiet i Hordaland. Hun arbeider nå som forfatter, gjendikter, oversetter, forlagskonsulent og litteraturkritiker, blant annet for Dagbladet fra 1996. Hun har vært medlem av Den norske forfatterforeningens litterære Råd. Hun var i 2001 festspilldikter for Dei nynorske festspela i Ørsta.

Bård Torgersen

Bård Torgersen (f. 1967) var tidlig på 1980-tallet en sentral skikkelse i Oslos musikalske subkultur. Han var vokalist i postpunkbandet Masters of Mø, og på nittitallet ble han en av pionerene på den norske elektronikascenen, senere har han stått bak flere musikalske prosjekter i grenselandet mellom musikk og litteratur. Nini Roll Anker (born Nicoline Magdalene Roll) was a Norwegian novelist and playwright.

She is known as one of the most important authors of Norwegian new realism. Her writing also supports the views of the women's rights movement and the rights of the working class. In one of her most knowns novels "Det som Henger i en Tråd" (1935) she portrays the hard and difficult life of the seamstresses in the factories.

She was a prominent figure in the 20s and 30s. She was both an aristocrat and a rebel; a feminist, socialist and pasifist, but did have social relations with the Norwegian royal family. This gave her the nickname "the royal court communist".

Selma Lønning Aarø

Selma Lønning Aarø (f. 1972) kommer fra Stord, men bor nå i Fredrikstad. Hun debuterte i allerede i 1995 med Den endelige historien, som var vinner av Cappelens konkurranse for beste debutroman.
