I have always sought adventure by listening to stories, telling stories or creating my own.
Nottingham will always be my home. I adore its history, vibrancy and (of course) I am a Nottingham Forest fan. My family and some of my closest friends are based there. I have fond memories of exploring the shire with friends, family and my four legged companion, Duke.

I have always been drawn to the northwest of England by its history, music, culture, and a wealth of creative talent. Thankfully, I have met some amazing friends along the way.

L.G. Cunningham
LG Cunningham loves to write scary, spine-chilling, monster filled, ‘my-child-is-not-able-to-sleep’ stories. This term of endearment could be as a result of growing up in an Irish town filled with ghosts, being able to communicate with (and actually see) the dead or more than likely because his family used to rent him horror movies (pre-Netflix and pre-DVDs) when he was very little which had the affect of twisting his brain to the extent that he was - and still is - afraid of his own shadow.

Alex Maister
I have lived in the UK most of my life. I’ve spent most of my life working in marketing and been involved in filmmaking at various stages. I have worked on corporate videos; produced a small animation series in Thailand with my wife; been credited as a producer on two independent German films; and played around with directing in the early 2000s. I started to take scriptwriting seriously when I took the UCLA writing for television course in 2017-18 (online) and have written several spec screenplays since. Over the past few years, I have published two fantasy books. All my creative writing carries a strong theme that involves marginalised characters.

I've always escaped reality and found true healing through reading and writing, especially during the teen years. At seventeen, I attended Katherine State High School in Australia's Northern Territory. Living and working in one of the most rural and remote regions of Australia, I was fully immersed in the Original Peoples' culture. Combined with my father's storytelling narrations, I began to understand the importance of symbolic stories and images to pass on important knowledge traditions.
