J. Cornelius
J. Cornelius is the award-winning author of Remembering Demons, book one of the dark fantasy trilogy, The God Cycle. The highly original premise of the series mixes fantasy, sci-fi, and horror in truly unpredictable ways.
Besides books, J. Cornelius is a virus researcher (no, not corona) and the father of two beautiful girls and a boy for whom looks are too early to tell. He has also been a bartender, a food oil sommelier, a singer and composer of songs, and an embarrassingly avid dancer of dances.
He greatly enjoys making snaps and following the world of physics and cosmology. Learning about the latter two (possibly all three) has greatly influenced the writing of The God Cycle trilogy.

After years of reading and enjoying vibrant fantasy novels and writing dry, professional reports I broke free and I now enjoy writing the sort of books I like to read. Much of my writing uses the history and legends of Edinburgh to provide a backdrop for a hidden fantasy world.

Nottingham will always be my home. I adore its history, vibrancy and (of course) I am a Nottingham Forest fan. My family and some of my closest friends are based there. I have fond memories of exploring the shire with friends, family and my four legged companion, Duke.
That said, I have lived in Preston where I studied journalism at the University of Central Lancashire. Furthermore, I moved to the outskirts of Manchester with my wife in search of a creative outlet. I have always been drawn to the northwest of England by its history, music, culture, and a wealth of creative talent. Thankfully, I have met some amazing friends along the way.
