Rafael Yockteng was born in 1976 in Lima, Peru. In 1980 he moved with his family to Colombia, where he still lives today. His favorite subjects at school were mathematics and physics, so he decided to study mechanical engineering. After three semesters he began to draw and write, changed his major, and studied graphic design at the Jorge Tadeo Lozano University in Bogotá. Sandol Stoddard Warburg

On December 16, 1927, Sandol Stoddard was born to parents, Carlos French and Caroline (Harris) Stoddard. She took up and finished a Bachelor of Arts degree at Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania. She went on to have her graduate work at San Francisco State College.

At 22 years old, she married Felix M. Warburg. They had four children, but their marriage lasted till 1963. She then met Frank Drew Dollard, whom she married in June 19, 1966. However, this marriage also ended. In June 1, 1974 she married William A. Atchley. She was married to Peter R. Goethals from 1984 until his death in 2000.

Satoshi Kitamura

Satoshi Kitamura was born in 1956. After dropping out of school to pursue art, Kitamura decided not to attempt a 10-year apprenticeship as a potter and instead worked as a graphic artist. He was not trained as an artist, but at the age of 19 began to do commercial work as an illustrator for adverts and magazines. Germano Zullo (1968) acquired Swiss nationality in 1985. He studied economics and management, undertook some trips to Europe, worked as an accountant, before turning to writing. He is married to the illustrator Albertine with whom he has collaborated for several albums. He also writes erotic stories, poems and novels. Today he devotes himself entirely to writing.

Frank Tashlin, born Francis Fredrick von Taschlein, also known as Tish Tash or Frank Tash (February 19, 1913 – May 5, 1972) was an American animator, screenwriter, and film director.

He wrote five books: "The Bear That Wasn't" (1941), "How The Circus Learned to Smile" (1949, "The Possum That Didn't" (1950) and "The World That Isn't" (1951) and a self-help cartooning book "How to Create Cartoons" (1952). He even briefly returned to animation in 1967, adapting one of his childrens books "The Bear That Wasn't" into an MGM animated short, directed by his former colleague Chuck Jones.

David Sanchez Juliao

David Sánchez Juliao was a Colombian author, journalist, storyteller and diplomat.

Sánchez Juliao was born in Lorica. He was the Colombian ambassador to India during the César Gaviria administration and ambassador to Egypt during the Ernesto Samper administration. Among his most important works are: El pachanga, El flecha, El flecha II el retorno (2006), Abraham al humor, Fosforito, Historias de Racamandaca y Dulce Veneno Moreno.

Sanchez Juliao's works have been translated into 15 languages and received a number of literary prizes. Sánchez Juliao's works provide an outline of the culture of Colombia's North Coast, and the Córdoba region specifically.
