I gave the US Army 52 years of my life as both a warrior/soldier and instructor; I am a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; studied novel writing at the University of Maryland--College Park; I have been married to the same woman for almost 52 years, and we have four children, seven grandchildren, and three great grandchildren (and counting). I wrote a military action/adventure thriller, an espionage thriller, and three middle-grade books before settling into combining two things I know best.
