WANG SUOYNG nasceu em Shanghai, a 28 de Dezembro de 1951. É licenciada em Língua Portuguesa pela Universidade de Estudos Internacionais de Shanghai (1975); Mestre em Linguística, (1997) e doutorada em Lexicologia, Lexicografia e Terminologia, pela Faculdade de Ciências Sociais e Humanas da Universidade Nova de Lisboa, com a tese "Lexicultura na Língua Chinesa e na Lexocografia Bilingue Chinês - Português" (2016).
Foi leitora de Chinês na Universidade de Aveiro, responsável pelo Curso de Língua e Cultura Chinesa tanto na Delegação Económica e Comercial de Macau como no Centro Científico e Cultural de Macau e coordenadora da cadeira de Língua e Cultura Chinesa na Escola Superior de Medicina Chinesa Dr. Pedro Choy (pólo da Universidade de Medi

Octavia E. Butler

Octavia Estelle Butler was an American science fiction writer, one of the best-known among the few African-American women in the field. She won both Hugo and Nebula awards. In 1995, she became the first science fiction writer to receive the MacArthur Foundation "Genius" Grant.
