Uriel Reyes (1984) nació en Tijuana, Baja California. De niño aprendió a comprender el lenguaje de las películas de terror que encontraba en la televisión abierta estadounidense, aunque aún no entendía el idioma. Estudió Comunicación en la Universidad Autónoma de Baja California y, posteriormente, se inspiró en los programas de radio que escuchaba en las madrugadas de insomnio, en las historias de fantasmas y en una grabación de Juan Rulfo leyendo un cuento de El llano en llamas para crear Relatos de la Noche, un podcast con el que se ha convertido en una de las voces más escuchadas de habla hispana en el mundo.
