Nirwan Dewanto

Nirwan Dewanto (born 28 September 1961) is an Indonesian poet and cultural critic. He is also known for his depiction of Albertus Soegijapranata in the 2012 biopic Soegija.

Dewanto was born in Surabaya, East Java, on 28 September 1961. While still in senior high school he was already writing poetry; the poems were published in local magazines such as Kuncung and Kartini. Dewanto did his university studies at the Bandung Institute of Technology in Bandung, West Java, from 1980 to 1987, where he received a degree in geology. He then moved to Jakarta.

In 1991 Dewanto was a speaker at the National Cultural Conference. He later became well known for his cultural commentary. Dewanto became editor of the magazine Kalam at its launch in February 1994

Joko Pinurbo (jokpin) lahir 11 Mei 1962. Lulus dari Jurusan Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia IKIP Sanata Dharma Yogyakarta (1987). Kemudian mengajar di alma maternya. W.S. Rendra

Willibrordus Surendra Broto Rendra (b. November 7 1935) is a famous Indonesian poet who often called by his friends and fans as "The Peacock".

He established the Teater Workshop in Yogyakarta during 1967 but also the Teater Rendra Workshop in Depok.

Wiji Thukul

Wiji Thukul Wijaya lahir di Sala 24 Agustus 1963 sebagai anak tukang becak dari keluarga Katolik. Selepas SMP, selama kurang dari dua tahun dia belajar di sekolah Menengah Karawitan Indonesia, sampai putus sekolah pada 1980.

Di Solo, Thukul dibesarkan di kampung miskin yang sebagian besar penghuninya hidup dari menarik becak. Ketika itu bis kota mulai menguasai jalanan, mengakibatkan penderitaan yang berkepanjangan bagi para tukang becak yang penghasilannya semakin merosot. Acep Zamzam Noor

Selulus SMA di Pesantren As-Syafi'iyah ia masuk FSRD ITB dan selesai pada 1987. Tahun 1991-1993 ia belajar di Universita' Italiana per Stranieri, Italia, atas beasiswa dari pemerintah Itali.

Μαρία Ιορδανίδου

Maria Iordanidou
Γεννήθηκε στην Κωνσταντινούπολη το 1897 και έζησε τα παιδικά της χρόνια στον Πειραιά και το Βατούμ της Ρωσίας. Φοίτησε σε ρωσικό γυμνάσιο, στη Σταυρούπολη, όπου τη βρήκε η Οκτωβριανή Επανάσταση. Το 1919 γύρισε στην Κωνσταντινούπολη και λίγο αργότερα πήγε στην Αλεξάνδρεια, όπου παντρεύτηκε τον Ιορδάνη Ιορδανίδη. Το 1923 επέστρεψαν μαζί στην Αθήνα, αλλά σύντομα ο Ιορδανίδης έφυγε.

Εξαιτίας των συνθηκών της ζωής της, η Ιορδανίδου απέκτησε μεγάλη γλωσσομάθεια και εργάστηκε ως ιδιωτική υπάλληλος. Έγινε γνωστή στο λογοτεχνικό χώρο με το έργο Λωξάντρα, που έγραψε σε ηλικία 65 χρονών, το 1962, και γνώρισε πολλές επανεκδόσεις.
