Siel Verhanneman

Siel Verhanneman (°1989) is schrijver en dichter. In januari 2022 publiceerde ze haar derde dichtbundel 'Wat nu met het licht dat binnenvalt' bij de Arbeiderspers. Met haar instinctieve poëziedebuut 'Als ik stil ben heb ik een bos in mijn hoofd' (2016) maakte ze angst, verdriet en rouw wijd bespreekbaar. In 2019 verscheen haar debuutroman 'Of iedereen gaat dood' bij uitgeverij Angèle. De roman kreeg 3 sterren in Focus Knack en 4 bollen in NRC. In 2020 werd Siel Verhanneman opgenomen in 'Nu' als één van de tien meest interessante jonge dichters van het moment. Werk van haar verscheen in Deus Ex Machina, 'De afstand', 'Een wonderprachtig dier' en 'Watou 2020', een bloemlezing samengesteld door Peter Verhelst.

Jonas Bruyneel

Jonas Bruyneel is auteur en muzikant. Hij publiceert regelmatig in literaire tijdschriften als Deus Ex Machina, Het Liegend Konijn en Literair Tijdschrift Extaze.

Paul Demets

Paul Demets (1966) is dichter en poëzierecensent voor onder meer De Morgen. Hij debuteerde met de bundel De papegaaienziekte (1999), die werd genomineerd voor de C. Buddingh'-prijs en bekroond met de Prijs voor Letterkunde van de Provincie Oost-Vlaanderen. In 2011 verscheen de alom geprezen bundel De Bloedplek, waarvoor hij de Herman De Coninckprijs ontving. Herman Koch

Herman Koch (1953) is known as a television producer and a writer. The book 'Het diner', published in 2009, was his breakthrough in the Netherlands. It was published in 17 countries. It was partly based on a true story involving a homeless woman named, María del Rosario Endrinal Petit, in Barcelona (Spain), in December 2005.

Koch was born in Arnhem, and later moved to Amsterdam. He studied Russian for some months, and lived in Finland for a while. Nowadays he is married to the Spanish Amalia, and has a son, Pablo (1994).
