Sevim Ak
Samsun’da doğdu, 1976 yılında Yıldız Teknik Üniversitesi Kimya Mühendisliği’nden mezun oldu. 1977-1980 yılları arasındaki biokimya uzmanlık eğitiminin ardından 25 yıl Heybeliada Sanatoryumu’nda ve özel kliniklerde çalıştı. Yazma tutkusu öğrencilik yıllarında artan Sevim Ak’ın ilk öyküsü, 1985 yılında Cumhuriyet gazetesinin pazar ekinde yayımlandı. İlk çocuk kitabı Uçurtmam Bulut Şimdi (1987) aynı yıl Akademi Kitabevi Çocuk Edebiyatı Öykü Ödülü’nü kazandı.
