İpek Ongun

1961 yılında Amerikan Kız Koleji Edebiyat Bölümü'nden mezun olan İpek Ongun, yazı yaşamına 1980'de yayımlanan Mektup Arkadaşları'yla başladı. Onu Kamp Arkadaşları ve Afacanlar Çetesi adlı çocuk kitapları izledi. Bunları izleyen Yaş On Yedi ve Bir Genç Kızın Gizli Defteri başlıklı yapıtlarıysa gençlik için yazılmış romanlardır. Gençlik romanlarından sonra, gençlere yaşama kültürü ve kişisel gelişim gibi konularda yardımcı olmasını amaçladığı bir üçlü yazdı. Adları Bir Pırıltıdır Yaşamak , Bu Hayat Sizin ve Lütfen Beni Anla olan bu kitapların ilki 1911 yılında TÜYAP'ta " Altın Kitap Ödülü " 'nü aldı.
