Salâh Birsel

1919 yılında Bandırma’da doğdu. Orta öğrenimini İzmir Erkek Lisesi’nde, yüksek öğrenimini İstanbul Üniversitesi Edebiyat Fakültesi Felsefe Bölümü’nde tamamladı. Salâh Birsel’in 1947 yılında çıkan ilk kitabı olan Dünya İşleri, Orhan Veli ve arkadaşlarının Garip yıllarındaki deneylerine uzak kalmayan bir şairden haber verir. Şairanelikten kaçınma özelliği, ince yergi eğilimleri ve yalın söylenmiş dizelerle yansıtma çabasından gelen bir sadeliktir bu.

Fikret Adil was a journalist, writer and translator who made very important contributions to Turkish literature. He used the abbreviation of his name, Fa as a penname. He worked at magazines, newspapers and a variety of government institutions.

Fikret Adil made his name as a journalist in 1920's and 1930's. During the Second World War he worked at the American News Bureau. He also worked as a translator at the Tass and Stefani Agencies. From 1927 onwards he worked in Hungary, Greece, Italy, Cyprus, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Libya, Egypt, England, India, the Netherlands and Pakistan at different times. He wrote down his impressions about the places he lived, and these were later published.

1949'da İstanbul'da doğdu. Moda İlkokulu, Kadıköy Ortaokulu ve Marmara Koleji'nden sonra Gazetecilik Yüksek Okulu'nu bitirdi. Ali Teoman

Asıl adı Ali Tataroğlu'dur. İstanbul'da doğdu. Orta öğrenimini İstanbul Alman Lisesi’nde, yükseköğrenimini ise İTÜ Mimarlık Fakültesi, MSÜ Mimarlık Fakültesi ve Sorbonne Üniversitesi Plastik Sanatlar Fakültesi’nde tamamladı. Ahmet Hamdi Tanpınar (23 June 1901 - 24 January 1962) was one of the most important modern novelists and essayists of Turkish literature. He was also a member of the Turkish parliament (the Grand National Assembly of Turkey) between 1942 and 1946.

Levé was self-taught as an artist and studied business at the elite École supérieure des sciences économiques et commerciales. He began painting in 1991. Levé made abstract paintings but abandoned the field (claiming to have burned most of his paintings) and took up color photography upon his return from an influential two-month trip to India in 1995.

Vigdis Hjorth (born 1959) is a Norwegian novelist. She grew up in Oslo, and has studied philosophy, literature and political science.

Giovanni Scognamillo

Giovanni Scognamillo was born to a family of Italian Levantines; his father was the son of an immigrant from Naples and his mother was descended from Genoese settlers of Tinos.
