Born in Germany, Rob Himmel grew up in Italy, in the lush land of Abruzzo, between mountains, sea and roast mutton skewers. From an early age he became fond of fantasy settings, developing worlds and stories in the hours of childhood play. Then, growing up, he gave an outlet to his creativity by inventing board games for his own pleasure. With the passage of time, adolescence led him to discover and fall in love with Tolkien through his The Lord of the Rings.
