Beppe Roncari (Milano, 1978), è scrittore, traduttore, editor. Ha lavorato nella produzione di fiction e come traduttore di coproduzioni internazionali di Lux Vide; alla Digital Transformation della Scuola Holden e nella comunicazione social per l’Agenzia Spaziale Europea (ESA). È redattore di corsi di inglese per Cambridge University Press & Assessment. Esperto di Tolkien, tiene una rubrica dedicata al fantastico per la collana Urania di Mondadori, che ha pubblicato alcuni suoi racconti.

Nel 2021, esce il romanzo storico “Numa Pompilio. Il figlio dei numi” (Mondadori), scritto a più mani, e nel 2023 la dilogia “Engaged” (Sperling & Kupfer), retelling fantasy storico de “I Promessi Sposi” di Manzoni.

Michael McDowell

Michael McDowell is a prolific horror writer who has distinguished himself with a varied body of work within the genre. He was born in Enterprise, Alabama, in 1950 and died of AIDS-related illness in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1999.

His first horror novel, The Amulet, relates the tragedies that befall various individuals who come in possession of a supernatural pendant in a small town.

Carlo Goldoni

Carlo Osvaldo Goldoni was an Italian playwright and librettist from the Republic of Venice. His works include some of Italy's most famous and best-loved plays. Audiences have admired the plays of Goldoni for their ingenious mix of wit and honesty. His plays offered his contemporaries images of themselves, often dramatizing the lives, values, and conflicts of the emerging middle classes. Though he wrote in French and Italian, his plays make rich use of the Venetian language, regional vernacular, and colloquialisms. Goldoni also wrote under the pen name and title "Polisseno Fegeio, Pastor Arcade," which he claimed in his memoirs the "Arcadians of Rome" bestowed on him.

Giovanni Verga

Giovanni Verga was an Italian realist writer, best known for his depictions of life in Sicily, and especially for the short story Cavalleria Rusticana and the novel I Malavoglia.

The first son of Giovanni Battista Catalano Verga and Caterina Di Mauro, Verga was born into a prosperous family of Catania in Sicily. He began writing in his teens, producing the largely unpublished historical novel Amore e Patria (Love and Country); then, although nominally studying law at the University of Catania, he used money his father had given him to publish his I Carbonari della Montagna (The Carbonari of the Mountain) in 1861 and 1862.
