İrfan Yalçın
İrfan Yalçın (doğum 1934; Zonguldak), Türk yazar. İstanbul Üniversitesi Edebiyat Fakültesi Fransız Dili ve Edebiyatı Bölümü'nü bitirdi. Anadolu'nun çeşitli yerlerinde bir süre öğretmenlik yaptıktan sonra 1972'te Beyoğlu'nda bir kitabevi açtı. 1985'te Köyceğiz'e yerleşti.
Şiir, hikâye, eleştiri alanlarında ürün verse de romanda yoğunlaştı. Milliyet Yayınları 1974 Roman Yarışması’nda Pansiyon Huzur’la ikincilik ödülüne değer görüldü. 1978’de Genelevde Yas, 1979’da Ölümün Ağzı, 1980’de Fareyi Öldürmek, 1983’te Büyük Soytarı, 1991’de Uzun Bir Yalnızlığın Tarihçesi, 1995’te Annem, Babam ve Ben adlı romanları yayınlandı.
