Joanne Roach
Hi! I'm Joanne, or at least professionally I am. In my day-to-day life, everyone calls me Jo, unless, of course, I am in trouble! I have loved to write for as long as I can remember and spent many hours as a child writing short stories and even songs.

I live in the south of England with my four cats and more books than I can possibly count. Aside from writing, I love to read, sing, dance and spend time with my loved ones, especially my eight nieces and nephews.
As I got older and life got in the way, writing was put on the back burner until I suffered some health issues and found myself looking for hobbies that didn't require too much physical activity, and that is when I rediscovered my love for the written word and telling stories.

She was bed bound for six years with severe ME, trapped in a body that wouldn’t do what she wanted; her only escape was through her imagination. She now writes about women who want to break free from the constraints of their lives, a subject she’s deeply familiar with.
Her favourite things are books, baking and the WI. She’s the founding president of a modern WI (Women’s Institute) and runs a baking club for other cake lovers. You’ll find her in her writing room, nicknamed Narnia because it’s also home to a wardrobe and is the place where she escapes to other worlds. She’s happiest if she’s got a sli -

Anita Chapman
Anita Chapman enjoyed writing stories from a young age, and won a local writing competition when she was nine years old. Encouraged by this, she typed up a series of stories about a mouse on her mum’s typewriter and sent them to Ladybird. She received a polite rejection letter, her first.

Best-selling author of sci-fi and post-apocalyptic fiction. Books tend to have elements of horror in them too, mostly because I'm pretty degenerate and I like books where there's a smattering of gore.

Kate L. Mary
I'm a mom of four, Air Force wife, and author of adult and young adult dystopian, post-apocalyptic, and science fiction. I love intense world building and character driven stories that feature strong female leads - as well as a side of romance - and any end of the world scenario. Zombies, aliens, a distant future where people have no clue how the world ended in the first place, you name it, I will create a story there!

Originally, I planned to publish “The Auction” under my real name, but then the character Angelica started speaking in my head, and she has a foul mouth. There is nothing my mother hates more than the “F” word. If she knew I used curse words in a book, it would crush her. And if one of her friends read the book and mentioned the swear words to her, well, that would be my mom’s version of public humiliation.
I typically write in a vastly different genre. Readers of my other books would be shocked by The Auction. Even my son, after reading the original first fifty pages said, “Mom, if I didn’t see you sitting at your computer typing this, I would never have believed you wrote it.”
Finally, we live in a world of “woke,” and this book will offe -

A theme in my books is the celebration of overcoming odds and of not allowing the cruelty of the universe to change who you are in the process. Most of them are classified as science fiction, since they often take place in the future, but if you love great stories and memorable characters, you'll dig what you find here. I promise. -

I spent my early adult years wandering about. I was a stewardess on a two masted schooner in the Bahamas and a U.S.O. Director in Louisiana and Missouri. I have also been a waitress and a cleaning lady at a motel. In college, I spent six months traveling in Europe, including several months in Spain, a country I adore. Later, I put in ten years or so as a computer programmer before I came to my senses and started writing. Words were, after all, my first lov -
