I'm Kate Reynolds, author of Ernestine, my debut work of historical fiction set in 1526 Spain. Booklife describes my novel by saying, "This work of historical fiction brims with life and heart." My husband says it took me long enough to write it, but I'm not putting that on my book jacket.

I spent my early adult years wandering about. I was a stewardess on a two masted schooner in the Bahamas and a U.S.O. Director in Louisiana and Missouri. I have also been a waitress and a cleaning lady at a motel. In college, I spent six months traveling in Europe, including several months in Spain, a country I adore.
