Quang X. Pham

Quang X. Pham, in addition to being an author, is a USMC veteran, businessman and community leader. He was born in 1964, in Saigon, South Vietnam. In April 1975, during the invasion of South Vietnam by the communist North Vietnamese Army, he, his three sisters, and his mother left their ancestral homeland as refugees. At that time the armed forces of the Republic of Vietnam (ARVN/QLVNCH), callously abandoned by the Americans & their other allies, were making a last desperate attempt to defend what was left of their country and its capital city of Saigon. His father, Hoa Van Pham, an officer of the VNAF (South Vietnamese Air Force), remained in South Vietnam and was captured by the North Vietnamese Army while providing air support to ARVN/QL
