Peter van den Ende

Peter Van den Ende is an artist and illustrator based in Belgium. Previously he worked as a nature guide in the Cayman Islands. The beauty of the sea was his source of inspiration for his wondrous and wordless debut picture book, The Wanderer--A Society of Illustrators, Dilys Evans Founder's Award Winner and named a Best Book of the Year by The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal.

Shaun Tan

Shaun Tan (born 1974) is the illustrator and author of award-winning children's books. After freelancing for some years from a studio at Mt. Lawley, Tan relocated to Melbourne, Victoria, in 2007. Tan was the Illustrator in Residence at the University of Melbourne's Department of Language Literacy and Arts Education for two weeks through an annual Fellowship offered by the May Gibbs Children’s Literature Trust. 2009 World Fantasy Award for Best Artist. Oliver Jeffers

Oliver Jeffers' work takes many forms. His distinctive paintings have been exhibited in galleries worldwide, and HarperCollins UK and Penguin USA publish his award-winning picture books, now translated into over 30 languages.

In 2007, Jeffers was the official illustrator for World Book Day, and in 2008 Lost and Found became Oliver's first book to made into animation by London-based Studio AKA.

Aimée de Jongh

Aimée de Jongh (1988) is a comic author, animator and illustrator from the Netherlands, with a large variety of drawing styles. Aimée received her degree in Animation at the Willem de Kooning Academy Rotterdam, KASK Ghent and at the Gobelins Summer School Paris.

She debuted with Snippers, a humorous daily comic series for the Dutch newspaper Metro. Her first graphic novel The Return of the Honey Buzzard won the Prix Saint-Michel and was adapted to film.
