  Anne-Catharina Vestly, but published as Anne-Cath. Vestly is a Norwegian actress and author of children books. She debuted with "Ole Aleksander Filibom-bom-bom" in 1953. Her first works were designed to be read on the radio, making the language to a greater extent oral than in her later books. Through the Norwegian children radio program "Barnetimen for de minste" she developed a large audience for her children stories. Some of her books were adapted into movies. As an actress, the Anne-Cath. Vestly herself played the role as the grandmother in the films about "Mormor og de åtte ungene".   Anders Bortne

  Anders Marius Bortne (født 4. oktober 1973 i Ålesund) er en norsk musiker og forfatter.
  
  I 1996 stiftet han indierockebandet Whopper hvor han var gitarist, vokalist og låtskriver. Han har også vært vokalist og låtskriver i bandet Kaare Joao, frontet av Kåre Pedersen fra Kåre & the Cavemen. Dannet bandet Corado i 2005 sammen tidligere Whopper-medlem Anders Hole og ga ut platen Corado i 2007 og This Summer Disease i 2009.
  
  I 2005 debuterte han med romanen Et bra band på Tiden Norsk Forlag. Hans andre bok, novellesamlingen "Natt'a der oppe, natt'a der nede", kom ut i 2008. Romanen "Ismannen" kom ut i 2011, og ble nominert til Ungdommens Kritikerpris. Romanen "Karikaturen", om den dødstruede Muhammed-tegneren Bård Anderssen, utkom i 2014.

  Gwendolyn Brooks

  Johan B. Mjønes er en norsk forfatter og skribent fra Orkanger.
  
  Mjønes debuterte i 2009 med romanen Terminalhastighet på Aschehoug forlag.
  I august 2010 ga han ut sin andre roman Orkanger. Boken handler om mobbing, hevn og livslangt skjebnefellesskap. 27. februar 2013, på førtiårsdagen for okkupasjonen av Wounded Knee, ga Mjønes ut Fortellingen om sju bål.
  I oktober 2013 debuterte Mjønes som ungdomsbokforfatter med romanen Død manns kiste. Mellom 2009 og 2014 foreleste Mjønes på Aschehougs forfatterskole sammen med Kari Fredrikke Brænne.
