Natascha van Limpt heeft archeologie gestudeerd aan de Universiteit van Leiden. Daarna volgde ze een opleiding tot redacteur en sinds 2017 werkt ze als freelance redacteur en corrector.

In de afgelopen negen jaar heeft ze zeventien boeken en novelles uitgebracht in diverse genres. Onder haar eigen naam schrijft ze romantasy, fantasy en historische romans, onder het pseudoniem N.D. Frost schrijft ze motorclub romances. Tot slot schrijft ze samen met Leah Nicolai ook jeugdboeken onder het pseudoniem Leana Mystica.

Haar verhalen zijn een mix van drama, avontuur, spanning en romantiek en kenmerken zich door personages met een heftige achtergrond, donkere thema’s en in haar meest recente werken queerpersonages.
