Mira Lobe
Mira Lobe wurde 1913 in der niederschlesischen Handelsstadt Görlitz in einer jüdischen Kaufmannsfamilie geboren. Nach dem Besuch der Volksschule absolvierte sie hier das Gymnasium, wo sie 1933 maturierte. Nach ihrer Schulzeit wollte sie Germanistik und Kunstgeschichte studieren, jedoch war ihr dies als Jüdin untersagt. Nach Abschluss der Textil- und Modeschule in Berlin wanderte sie 1936 nach Palästina aus; Mutter, Großmutter und Schwester sollten später nachkommen. Im Sommer 1940 heiratete sie den deutschen Schauspieler und Regisseur Friedrich Lobe (* 1889)[1], der am Arbeitertheater „Ohel“ in Tel Aviv wirkte. 1944 brachte sie Tochter Claudia und 1947 Sohn Reinhardt zur Welt. Danach begann sie zu schreiben.
